Manufacturers of medicinal drugs support often comparative studies in universities and other research institutes to show that their products are safe and do not seriously degrading human performance. Performance test in laboratories, driving simulation tests, tests on actual driving can be conducted but there is still a big problem, that of developing a performance test battery for predicting the adverse effects of new medicinal drugs on driving performance.
