For a long time in the province of south Holland an experimental project has been set up with the aim to improve the use of public transport in the Leidsebaan area. This article describes why and how the project is set up. Thereafter the slow progress of the project is discussed. With a new procedure giving a bigger role to the provincial authority, the project can have a quicker realisation, and the layout of the road to be constructed can be made
