Samenvatting
The thickness of water layer has a decisive influence on the behaviour of vehicle tyres on wet roads. Only little information has up to now been available on the thickness of water laying on the road as a function of different criteria. The interrelation of these criteria is investigated for two types of carriageway surfacings (mastic asphalt and cement concrete) on a test slab.
