Samenvatting

Research suggests that noncompliance with speed limits is high. One factor that may provide some explanation for individuals' speeding behavior is the driver's personality. To examine social issue behavior in relation to speeding, this study examined specific personality characteristics in the context of speed limit compliance behavior. To test the hypotheses, data were gathered via an online survey. The results indicate that personality, along with social issue involvement, influenced speed limit compliance behavior.
