Samenvatting
To use accident data in order to profile a road safety policy they must be related to the measure of exposition to traffic of that specific category of road users. Exposition, however, is defined in many ways and is adapted and corrected in even more ways. There is also no uniformity in units. Even in the Netherlands registration, availability and accessibility of essential data leaves much to be desired.
