A pedestrian plus refers to a pedestrian who needs to use walking aids in order to walk. These aids may include a walking stick, a rollator or a walking frame. The pedestrian plus is unprotected in traffic. In a collision with a vehicle the pedestrian plus will always be the weakest party at most risk of injury or death.
