The object of this study was to examine some of the widelyheld beliefs as to the effect of various factors on theabsorption of alcohol into the blond. 1) Effect of a fattymeal before drinking. 2) Effect of a non-fatty meal beforedrink mg. 3) Effect of varying the concentration of thebeverage. 4) Effect of exercise immediately after drinking.It was found that the ingestion of fond before drinkingz,aused a consistent lowering of the peak blond alcoholconcentration, which was verg pronounced in the case offatty fond.
