Samenvatting

Human, vehicle and environmental relations which have been shown to influence the relations between absorption of alcohol and highway crashes are summarized. Human factors to take into account are: age, sex, marital status, socioeconomic status, previous driving offences, criminal offences, drinking experience, number, age and relationship and drinking status of passengers, drunken pedestrians, and purpose of trip/place of drinking.
