Glare influence the vision negative also the contrast-vision. A hardly visible obstacle becomes invisible by glare. Light intensity and speed are factors to enlarge the safety. The place of the obstacles on the road (to the left-or to the right side) is also important for the adaptation of the eye. The background plays a role when the road is not satisfactory enlightened.
