The purpose of this notice is to ask for comments whether the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration should propose amendments to Safety Standard No. 108, Lamps, Reflective Devices and Associated Equipment, to specify performance requirements and test procedures for aerodynamically designed headlamp systems, lightweight headlamp systems, increased candlepower output on the lower beam, and standardization of sizes of motorcycle headlamps.
