Samenvatting
A profile of requirements has been developed on the basis of a theoretical analysis of the process when entering a highway. It includes the conflicts concerning behaviour which is demanded of the driver and of fluency of traffic. This analysis of the profile of requirements, the observation of the actual driving-behaviour and the following interview indicated the reasons for the observed incorrect types of behaviour. From these results conclusions concerning constructional and legal improvements for entries to highways are drawn.
