Samenvatting
The FIDEUS European project, coordinated by Centro Ricerche FIAT, aims to develop a new approach to the urban logistics, by proposing a family of innovative vehicles, a re-organised logistic flow and a telematic tool for the logistics management. The complementary set of vehicles includes a completely new Micro Carrier for deliveries in pedestrian areas, a van and a lorry with technical solutions that permit a reduction in the environmental impact (noise included) and improve the safety and efficiency of the transhipment operations. This integrated approach will be tested in Barcelona, Lyon and Hannover to validate the FIDEUS concepts and solutions. For the covering abstract see ITRD E134653.
