Samenvatting

The risk-taking behaviour of automobile drivers, who where either alone or had passengers, was investigated by measuring the time spent waiting and the time interval before the next oncoming automobile while turning from a busy street without a stoplight. Results indicated that male drivers with same sex passengers had shorter wait times and drivers with mixed sex passengers had longer interval times.
