Samenvatting
The bicycle is a cheap, environmental friendly transport mode, but it is necessary to use the right stimulators and good information to improve the use of the bicycle. The bicycle is mostly used for the journey to work, but the distance to the working place is a limiting factor. To stimulate the use of the bicycle an overview is carried out on the data of modal split per industry, business, trade, undertaking and concern on the part of the bicycle on modal split, and on the efficiency of some measures taken by the administrators to stimulate the use of the bicycle.
