Samenvatting
A study on the patronage of imaginary cycle-stores was carried out in two older districts of Rotterdam. Many people are not content with the possibilities of cycle storage, because indoors it is inconvenient and on the street it proves to be insecure. If around-the-clock cyclestores were available in the neighbourhood 20% of those interviewed would be prepared to use them. Adequate storage facilities would lead to an increase in cycle use and/or purchase of a new bicycle.
