Samenvatting
Between 1988 and 1990 research was carried out into the possibility of encouraging car users to use the train. The data were obtained via inquiries among car users and rail travellers in the corridor Dordrecht- Rotterdam during the morning peak hour. Special attention was paid to the determination of objective and subjective factors which might prevent car users from changing their travel mode to public transport. This contribution specially focuses on the expected effects of proposed policy measures.
