Samenvatting
The daily returning queuing on the Dutch motorway system is caused by the increase of the distance between the location of the workplace and the living place. The number of commuters more than tripled. This is partly stimulated by a travel allowance system from the employer and the tax deduction facilities by the government. It is proposed through the decrease and reversal of the financial facilities to influence the causal level.
