Samenvatting
Interest in design/build as an alternative contracting method is growing. Results of a pilot design/build program undertaken by the Florida Department of Transportation are presented. Project performance results were measured and compared with non-design/build projects during the same period. Significant improvements in project performance were realised. Results of a survey of all participants are included. Final evaluation and suggestions for improvement are given.
