Samenvatting
This paper gives an introduction to basic conditions and major research objects of Intelligent Transport Systems Laboratory, Ministry of Communication, China (hereinafter referred to as ITS Lab, MoC). As a result, ITS relating departments at home and abroad will keep abreast of the research achievement of ITS in China. ETC Laboratory (hereinafter referred to as ETC Lab) is the first period construction of ITS Lab with the building investment of MoC. It is an open laboratory contributed to the science and technology of China's highway transport at next century. This laboratory will be put into operation in August 1999. (A*)
