Förbifarter, del 2 : enkätundersökning till boende och kvalitativa effekter av förbifartslösningar = Bypasses, Part 2 : questionnaire to local populations and qualitative effects of bypass solutions.

This report deals primarily with the reactions and opinions of local populations to bypasses, i.e. qualitative effects. The study comprises urban areas with 4,000-19,000 inhabitants and thus does not represent smaller and larger urban areas. The questionnaires, consisted of two sections and made it possible to: 1) compare local inhabitants' opinion on the situation on the through road and in the town centre in towns with and without a bypass; and 2) compare local inhabitants' opinion on the qualitative effects of a bypass in towns with and without a bypass. The analysis provides a direct comparison between the two groups of towns, with and without a bypass respectively. (A) For the first part of this study see C 8015 S (IRRD 879178).
