Samenvatting
An earlier not gave forecasts of vehicles and vehicles and vehicle miles in Great Britain up to the year 2010, based on data up to 1966. The present paper revises these forecasts on the basis of data up to 1968. Separate forecasts have now been made for several classes of commercial vehicles. The present forecasts of total numbers of vehicles are slightly lower than the earlier ones firstly because of the downward revision of population forecasts and secondly because of the slow growth of vehicle ownership during 1966-1968.
