Samenvatting
A review of research programmes for 1977 of the BAST is given. Main fields of research are: Improvement of the data basis for accident research: investigation of tolerance levels and protection criteria by the simulation of traffic accidents; emergency medical service models; traffic safety in urban areas; stresses and strains of drivers; efficiency of police control measures in traffic; and influencing and treating of alcohol-involved drivers and possibilities of early recognition.
