Samenvatting
In 1971 there were 681 fatal traffic accidents on California's freeways. This is a decrease of 47 from 1970. Increased travel, together with the continuing reduction in freeway fatal accidents, has produced, however, a downward trend in the rates for freeway fatal accidents and freeway fatalities. Tables of distribution of accidents are examined.
