Samenvatting

Several statistical reports indicate that the number of accidents involving injuries is greater on Friday afternoon between 4.00 p.m. and 8.00 p.m. than at any other time of the week. This is referred to as "the Friday afternoon phenomenon". The goal of this study was to examine whether this phenomenon could be attributable to the fact that drivers display a greater number of hazardous behaviours at that particular time.
