Fuel effects on road transport engines : emissions and cold starting.

This paper describes a test programme to assess the cold start characteristics, gaseous and particulate emissions, to the European 13-mode test procedure, from a range of seven heavy duty diesel engines when operated with eight different fuel formulations.
