Samenvatting
A review is presented of accident cases involving school buses over the past few years. This paper outlines the accident mechanisms, the results and the causal factors. Existing safety standards relating to school buses are discussed along with proposed Governmental safety standards. The results of findings and regulations and methods to improve the school bus mode of transportation are discussed.
