Future traffic volumes on the motorway A1 Paris-Lille.

This paper examines the issues raised by growth in traffic on the French motorways, in particular the A1 motorway between Paris and Lille which also serves traffic to and from the Channel Tunnel and the Benelux countries. Analysis shows that traffic condition will deteriorate in the short term before new infrastructure will be completed.
