Samenvatting
A short review of the parts "Education" and "Research and Development" of the publication "Gaps in Technology" written by the Committee for Science Policy of the OECD. Tables are given of highly qualified manpower and educational attainment characteristics of the labour force, utilization of university graduates by economic sector and numbers of persons in certain high level occupations and with university qualifications in science and technology in the U.S.A. & Europe.
