The results are presented of a case study, with several companies, on the negative effect of congestion upon business travel by car. The background to the study is the question of: a) whether it is a necessity for infrastructural measures specifically aimed at business travel; and b) If the need for this does indeed exist, to determine which segment of business travel needs such measures most. To answer this question the market has been subdivided into segments: repair trips, business services, sales traffic, construction travel, meetings, training and other services.
