Samenvatting
To warn everybody who has something to do with the transportation or handling of dangerous cargos (also in case of accidents) several warning signs have been designed. Because of the international character of many of these transports and the differences in the countries involved, the United Nations have tried to normalize these signs. The article shows the UN signs but deals also with the different national symbols and the international and national legislation.
