Samenvatting
This report gives recommendations on guidelines and warning markings for the blind and the visually handicapped people. Guidelines should be paved with concrete tiles with a rippled surface, warning markings must be paved with tiles with a rubber surface. This paper also deals with of a pilot project carried out in the city of Gouda. In this project all kind of facilities like guidelines, warning markings, obstacle removing, lowering of kerbs, lengthening of the green phase at traffic lights, audible signals etc. were tested.
