Samenvatting
A series of four articles on traffic noise nuisance. The first: "Vehicle technology with respect to traffic noise nuisance" deals with the necessity of noise standards for the different groups of motor vehicles. The second article deals with the regulations for distances between main roads and housing area. The planning of roads with respect to traffic noise is then discussed. Finally the legislation and control of permissible noise production is discussed.
