In order to find practical methods to control the noise-productions of sanitary installations in buildings a number of sound measurements has been done on taps and some pressure reducing equipment. The measurements were carried out under two principal conditions: constant pressure and constant amount of water. In this report the results are given of some of these measurements, as well as the conclusions which may lead to a solution of the problems which often occur in buildings where acoustical demands have been made.
