Samenvatting
Although the committees concerned with these matters in FSO, ECE and EEC have worked out proposed directives for the measurement of noise in the vicinity of vehicle exhausts, these up to now have not come into force. A sound level meter especially is developed for such measurements. Police in Bavaria are already equipped with such instruments and some experiences are presented.
