Samenvatting
On the basis of an ample (international) exploration and of practical experience, a series of recommendations for organising and performing measures of winter maintenance is made. This report successively deals with the organisation (including such items as calling out men and machinery) , and the materials and equipment used. Especially the environmental and economical advantages appear the emerge from the system of wet-salt spreading, which has found large-scale application on national truck roads.
