This internship report is a report of the performed activities within a research internship at The Institute for Road Safety Research (SWOV). The subject of this internship is a research examining 'Social Forgivingness' in road users' behaviour. Social Forgivingness is a new principle in the Sustainable Safety vision (Wegman & Aarts, 2006). The definition of Social Forgivingness is: "The willingness to anticipate on potentially unsafe actions of another road user and to act in such a way that negative consequences of a potentially unsafe action are prevented or at least limited."
