Samenvatting
Impact-absorbing devices known as hydro cushions are discussed. These energy-absorbing systems consists of clusters of poly-vinyl plastic cells 6 inches in diameter and 40 inches high filled with water containing calcium chloride to prevent freezing at ambient temperatures.
