Samenvatting
This paper presents parts of a survey of Swedish research and developmentwithin the field of information technology (IT), which has the potential to reduce the negative environmental effects of freight transportation as a consequence of the usage of IT. Research projects are collected into a database by letting the actors fill in a questionnaire in order to facilitate the analysis of the results, and the results are analyzed. The survey showed that there exist several different types of fields that are covered and that many of them have win-win solutions where both environmental and economical effects are benefited.
