Samenvatting
It is stated from a special point of view that green waves lead hardly to energy conservation. Suggestions of institutes and others that green waves are useful are guesswork and are not based on research. Green waves for car traffic are a hindrance for the flow of traffic transport and slow traffic and are a danger for traffic safety. A list of recommendations for improvement of the energy conservation in traffic and transport is presented.
