Samenvatting
In June 1984 a big traffic control was held on the motorway Den Haag-Utrecht. Car drivers were stopped by the police and brought to auction halls for further investigation. The effectiveness of such a big action is investigated. Big actions like this should not be rejected, but long-term actions on local or regional level supported by a publicity campaign should be preferred.
