Samenvatting
The aim of the project was to review developments taking place in the application and use of geotextiles and related products in the ground engineering aspects of road construction and maintenance. The report presents a state- of- the- art review of the different generic forms of geotextile or related product currently used, describes methods for assessing their properties, and outlines procedures for the design, specification and construction of the principal ground engineering applications of geotextiles in roads.
