Samenvatting
This report describes the necessary steps of harmonisation and convergence of datasets to form a European in-depth injury database. It is intended as a reference for proposals submitted under the Fourth Framework Programme. It is based on the expert opinion of the authors who represent the two of the largest data collection systems in Europe. The view of the regulators, other researchers, car manufacturers and insurance groups who advocate for safety have also been incorporated. (Author/publisher)
