Samenvatting

A study was conducted to determine if automobile drivers of different ages perceive hazards differently when driving. Nine female subjects ranging in age from 23 to 29 years and eleven female subjects ranging from 17 to 22 drove over a pre-determined course thereby reporting all situations they thought to be hazardous. It was found that the two groups did indeed differ in their perceptual patterns. The results are presented in this paper.
