Samenvatting
The present poor quality of lamp aiming is discussed together with the use of dipped headlamps in towns. The effect of styling on the choice of the type of headlamp is described. It is suggested that widespread use of sharply cut off European Code dipped beams increase the need for supplementary third beam systems for use on motorways and similar roads.
