Heavy truck crashes following speed limit changes.

On 1 January 1987 the open road speed limit for articulated and rigid trucks increased from 80 kph to 90 kph in all States of Australia. This speed limit was again increased on July 1988 to 100 kph across all states. This study determines whether the increases in the speed limit for trucks had led to increases in fatal or injury crashes involving those vehicles.
