Heavy vehicle safety on major New South Wales highways : a study of crashes and countermeasures.

A concise summary is given of the method, results, findings and conclusions of a study of fatal and serious injury crashes involving heavy vehicles in New South Wales. The study covered crashes involving articulated trucks, rigid trucks, buses and coaches and concentrated on the factors contributing to such crashes and possible countermeasures to their number and severity.
