Samenvatting
This article considers the scope of the new civil legislation on the contract of transport by road. It points to some incertainties especially in the field of transport of goods as to whether the new law will be applicable or not; the construction which is used by the legislator seems unsatisfactory for the clear distinction where the carrier is still liable; for the transport of containers this can be of great importance.
