Samenvatting
In 1980 a study was initiated to investigate the relationship of public transport to life style in small rural communities. This paper reports on the exploratory pilot stage. The paper reports on the conclusions available from the indepth interviews, reviews the techniques used and considers the differences between the Dutch and English environments. Finally it examines the arguments over further approaches to such work.
