The policy of the Dutch central government, and in particular the policy of the Department of Traffic and Transport, as regards the transport for the disabled persons, is reviewed. Especially the public transport and an alternative transport mode for specific categories of disabled persons is considered. Conclusions on the policy that has been conducted and the policy that should be conducted are presented.
