Samenvatting
After a short introduction the measures taken by different governments to decrease the driving of motor vehicles by deaf people are reviewed. In the Netherlands such a measure has never been in force. A relation between traffic safety and deafness is given. It is justified that there is no limitation in the Netherlands for the issue of driving licences for deaf or deaf and dumb people.
